Kailyn Erb is a Bay Area-based costume designer and received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts with a technical focus in Costume Design at California State University, Chico in 2021. She is a costume designer with a passion for theatre, partnership, inclusion, and learning. Adept in collaborating with colleagues to ensure ethical costume practices, Kailyn takes great pride in being a charter committee member of California State University, Chico's Theatre Department's Theatre Diversity Committee. Kailyn has spent time working in theatrical education and curriculum development while working for Building Kidz LLC. She worked to incorporate a diverse theatrical education into their curriculum while lending her technical theatre skills to the company's productions and showcases. Kailyn strives to produce high-quality designs that maintain artistic visions while practicing sustainable and ethical costume practices.
Kailyn recently closed-out the 2022-2023 season at City Lights Theater with productions of The River Bride and Kinky Boots. She will be returning to City Lights Theater for the 2023-2024 season with Nora: A Doll's House and The Rocky Horror Show.
Nora: A Doll's House runs from January 18th, 2024 through February 18th, 2024.
The Rocky Horror Show runs from July 18th, 2024 through August 25, 2024.
